about us

Enzymoplast® is a trademark of Advanced Enzyme Science Limited, a polymer technology company based in the United Kingdom.

innovation

As a result of eight years of extensive research we have developed, with the help of new technology, an enzyme which promotes the chemical reaction within the polythene PE and other synthetic polymers accelerating the process of biodegradation.

commitment

We have a commitment to the environment and a obligation to mankind to protect the planet for future generations.

new technology

Enzymoplast® is the only non Bioplastic material which has achieved compostable status, certified to EN 13432 standard. Enzymoplast® is neither a biopolymer nor an oxo degradable additive.

Somewhere between 500 billion and a trillion plastic bags are consumed worldwide each year. But when you throw away a plastic shopping bag, it can end up in a landfill or get blown away and become litter on land or at sea. One of the most dramatic impacts is on marine life. About 100,000 whales, seals, turtles and other marine animals are killed by plastic bags each year worldwide, according to Planet Ark, an international environmental group.

There is a growing international movement to ban or discourage the use of plastic bags because of their environmental effects. Countries from Ireland to Australia are cracking down on the bags and action is beginning to stir in the rest of the world.
